Albie Tollhurst was a boy that Earl Hickey scared when he was young.
Before Season 1Edit
When Albie was young, he had a fear of the boogeyman. His father, George, tried to assure him that there was nothing to worry about, but after he found Earl hiding under his bed, he was forever scared of the dark ("Boogeyman").
Earl found Albie and explained about the List. After being initally apprehensive, Albie told Earl he wanted him to be his slave for the day. After doing so, Earl realised that Albie was still scared of the dark, and helped him to conquor his fears by talking to him every night and encouraging him to turn off the light a little bit more every night. After Earl left, Albie said that he wanted to live with him, as he cared about him unlike his father. However, his father misconstrued what was happening as a hostage situation, and before long SWAT teams and news crews were outside the Motel. Alby's father climbed to the top of the Motel and got to Earl's room, and Albie came out happy that his father had shown that he did care about him, and Earl was able to cross him off the List.
