Earl Jr. Turner is the son of Joy and Darnell Turner. He was born April 3 2002.

[edit] Before Season 1
Joy Darville married Earl Hickey in 1999, and Earl raised Joy's first child, Dodge, as if he was his own(which he was all along). Several years later Joy gave birth to what Earl thought was their first child, but when Earl Jr. was born black Earl realised his wife had had an affair ("Pilot").
[edit] Season 1
Joy demanded that Earl gave half of his $100,000 lotto winnings to her to help raise "his" kids. As Dodge and Earl Jr. ran around the house, Earl reminded her that they were not his children ("Randy's Touchdown").
When Joy entered the Prettiest Pretty Princess mother-daughter beauty pageant with her supposedly dead mother, Dodge and Earl Jr. went to watch the show with Darnell ("Broke Joy's Fancy Figurine"). Earl Jr. attended Joy and Darnell's wedding. At the wedding rehersal, Earl Jr. needed to use the toilet just as Earl decided to tell Darnell that he had slept with Joy, and so Joy took Earl into the bathroom with her so she could talk him out of it whilst Earl Jr. used the toilet ("Joy's Wedding"). He went to the Right Choice Ranch in 2005 with Dodge. Earl took the boys to Mystery Fun Land to make up for an item on the List, but found it was shut down. The boys forgave Earl and crossed the item off the List ("Barn Burner").
Earl Jr.'s birthday unites some of Earl's old friend, including Ralph Mariano. Earl Jr. complains that, despite being five, there are only four candles on his cake, which prompts Joy to put her cigarette in as the fifth candle ("Stole P's HD Cart"). Earl Jr. and Dodge went away to Darnell's parent's house for Mother's Day ("Dad's Car").

When Darnell was allowed back into the house after Joy kicked him out, Earl. Jr and Dodge both were very happy. Darnell decided to tell them, as a bedtime story, what really happened to him as Harry Monroe ("Mailbox").

Joy tried to trick the "Make a Wish" foundation into believing that Dodge and Earl Jr. were dying by trying to force them to give the family free goods ("The Magic Hour").
It was revealed that Earl Jr. is not the biological son of Darnell Turner ("Dodge's Dad").

- Despite it previously being stated that Earl Jr. was born in 2002, it is said to be his fifth birthday in Season 1, which took place in 2005.
